How do chickens work?

I have 6 hours of lecture today. 2 in the AM, and 4 more consecutive hours back to back. So boring. Not only that, but the room that all 82 of us were crammed in (in a 90 seat lecture hall) was about 85 degrees. The thermostat is all screwy. I was completely not able to concentrate since I was so uncomfortable. I felt like I was part of some strange psychological experiment that no one told me about, to determine the effects of temperature endurance while trying to learn.

I think I've found the cure for depression. At least when I get depressed. It's good for you and free too. The glorious sun. 2 or more days of cloudy, crappy weather makes me very depressed. When the sun comes out and hits me in the face, it makes me feel so much better. It really amazes me how much the weather can effect my mood.

6 hours of lecture makes me think about all sorts of things. I came up with two lists.

Reasons I love Grafton:
I can let my car warm up in the morning and not worry about anybody stealing it
Nice neighbors
No weird guy running down the street yelling obscenities with a bat
Not being worried about going shopping by myself
I drive by two farms on my way to school
I have a huge backyard and the property is even riverfront
Living with two very comical dogs

Reasons I miss Fruit St:
Crazy roommates
Constant influx of new and interesting people
Afternoon movies
Crazy parties
Laughing hysterically about nothing
Drinking with friends
Tequila shots in the afternoon before PQP meetings

Mood: Reflective

HAHA YES!

Tequila shots in the afternoon was the way to go about business.

I miss Fruit St. too...even though I still live here. I don't consider it "53 Fruit" anymore...just, my disgusting apartment of lazy-ass slackers.

My new roomates smell and aren't smart.

I liked you guys cause you each were smart and told me stuff I didn't know. And Eliz was always right =P

It was certaintly an era to remember.
