Infection in the rectum
Wow, can't believe I haven't posted in over a week. It's been kinda slow, lots of work, no ethics classes to rant about.
So, in searching the online veterinary manual for a good feline gastrointestinal disorder for a contest, I ran across a video of an instructional video on how to give a HUMAN rectal exam. Eww, gross. I think the med school stuff gets cross linked sometimes.
Good bye hotmail! After having a junk mail address with hotmail since I was a freshman in high school, I've decided to kill it. I get about 25 spam emails every day. I've been considering this for about a year now, but think I am ready to do it. I hate hotmail since MSN won't do a POP server, even though I am going to read the email with another of their products (outlook)!!! So screw them and their damn pop ups and annoying ads that take up the entire screen. I also now have a gmail account, very proud. Plus Google is not afraid to have a POP server. I'm a big fan of Google. I have a blog with them, an email address, the Google toolbar (blocks pop ups well), and it's my web search of choice. I should buy stock. God help me if they ever go belly up. Imagine.
I'm deciding on what to do with myself this summer. I have many options. I have several requirements:
1)I need to make money.
2)Lots of money is preferential
3)Need a veterinary/farm setting
4)Like some times outdoors
5)Like to be able to take some time off
So, there is this job position to be a sort of RA for a pre-vet program at my school. M-F 8-4, 10 weeks, 2 week periods of RA, but the money is good, job is easy, might have to work with someone I dislike greatly (for 10 weeks), and would only have 1.5 weeks of downtime.
Decisions, decisions. But, I've got a lot on my plate right now with classes to dedicate much time to think about it now. Another foot of snow Thursday

Sounds like the RA job meets all your requirements... I guess you could look at the annoying person as blog fodder? :-P
I applied for the job :) I have an interview next week. I did some cost/sanity analysis, and it turns out I'd be making more money for less work and keeping my sanity by being an RA/program assistant. Now let's hope I get the job.
