Another rant on Romney...
Well, in a move this week Romney has made it very clear that his position as governor of MA was merely a stepping stone on his way to presidency. He declared himself almost fully anti-abortion (outside of rape and incest). Thus, he is preparing for a nomination from the GOP for presidency in 2008. What a flip-flopper. His previous proponents are now unhappy with him. While I am very upset that Romney is gov., this may be a good move. He will most likely run for pres, giving up his seat as gov., and Healy will finish the term as elect, and even if he does win nomination, no one will vote for him because he is truly a flip-flopper, a mormon, and an all around jerk that no one really likes, even republicans. Therefore, a Democrat will become president (as long as the party chooses a proper nominee and not some other jerk like Kerry), helping to turn around the economy and get us out of the damn Iraq mess. I wonder if Ted Kennedy would like to step up. Or John McCain, even if he is a republican.

I am mostly just scared about Romney running for President cos of the chance he might get it. When he first put his name in the hat for governor I wrote him off when it came out that he had recently filed his tax return as a Utah resident. Was I ever surprised when I started paying attention again a few months later and saw that he was a major contender!
