Aaaannnnnndddddddd procrastination wins out

Well, I was going to hit the library again tonight, but that blows. It is nice and warm there though, I hate to turn the heat on. My poor kitties have to run around crazy to stay warm... oh wait, they do that anyway. Speaking of cold, it's supposed to snow Wednesday and be around freezing for the rest of the week. YAY! BRING IT OLD MAN WINTER! DO YOUR WORSE!!!! What happened to fall you new englanders say? What, you missed those 3 days of 65-degree, just-need-a-sweater-to-go-outside, leaves-falling, apple-cider-drinking days??? TOO F-ING BAD! WHAHAHAHA!!! Now you got snow!

Yay see, we get all 4 seasons here, it's just the nice, mild ones last about a week. I'm not bitter. You just have to get out and enjoy those days, cause they are great, even if it means 5 hours less of studying. Bah.

In other news today, I successfully turned the distal third of my right index phalange magenta in lab. Damn sarrafin. The acetone didn't even lighten it. Yay, I'm cool. I've done hundreds of gram stains, however I never manage to miss an opportunity to make myself look like an ass.

And for a final rant, I got the latest catalog from urban outfitters, since the chick who lived before me subscribed to every single free catalog available. Urban is generally cool, but something became extremely obvious to me and made me kinda mad. If you got this catalog, you could see what I'm talking about. Anyway, the theme is "Everyday people" so it looks like they just went around the city taking pictures of random people, but it's really models in urban o. clothes. The even have bags and shoes lined up along the street and sign like a sidewalk vendor. It looks sort of throw together. At first, I thought this was a pretty cool idea. The clothes look like unique pieces of kitch and alternative dress you buy at second hands stores and that place in Cambridge that i forget the name and "dollar a pound shops." But then I realize that it's not unique, this stuff is massed produced by slave labor and sent to stores across the country and sold for RIDICULOUS prices. That's America. Fear and consume. But is it bad I think the clothes are cool and want a pair of stockings from the catalog? Maybe I'll go to a cool place and find a similar pair. Ha. and

Keep you fingers crossed for me as I submit my resume tonight for a job in the hospital.
