Mmm...college
We had a fire alarm upset class one day a few weeks ago. We had to proceed outside through the lobby out into the rain. That morning there was a coffee hour and at the time we walked through they were setting up for a lunchtime talk. After waiting outside for the alarms to stop amid the smokers taking the opportune moment and suck down a quick, we walked like cattle back into the lecture hall. On the way back in, I smelled pizza, coffee, and cigarettes and it reminded me of college :)
I didn't really want to blog, but I had a few random thoughts in my head and don't feel like studying antibiotics or pee. I have an exam Friday and a final the Tuesday after so this week/weekend is crunch time before Thanksgiving, but I can't make myself care. At least we have the day off tomorrow and I can sleep in and get some work done. My ass still hurts from taking the micro exam up the ass. Damnit. One exam left and micro will be over.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner, as will be my 5 year high school reunion. Again, a reminder that I'm getting older. Anyway, I'll be working at the vet's instead. And then hanging out with Jennie, I think. I don't really care about seeing people from high school, though wouldn't mind finding out how badly people failed at life, he he. I think I'll go to the 10 year one, when I'm officially a doctor. I think I've grown up a lot since high school and don't have desire to venture back.
In other news, next week I'll be actually castrating something - eat your heart out Eliz. We are going to the swine unit to chop some pig balls. And, this week I'll be going to a sheep farm and doing some work, that will be fun. Except that I should study. Eh, I love farm work. Makes me feel alive and useful. That work is so much more than an A in a class.
Ok, antibiotics and pee. I posted yesterday, so don't miss that one you non-avid readers :)
