So, I've been popping pills/coughdrops/cold-eeze/swigs of Nyquil for the past week and have discovered a few things. Nyquil doesn't help me at all, the antihistmine doesn't help me since I'm on time released antihistamines for allergies any way and it's doesn't contain pseudoephedrine. pseudoephedrine is the best nasal decongestant out their. I ran out of my friend sudafed last night and had to buy more drugs. I stopped by CVS this morning and had the hardest damn time finding the med I want. Apparently, pseudoephedrine is a stimulant that kids like to grind up and snort and CVS now requires you to go to the pharmacist and show your ID (18+) to get it. Yes, I got carded. Yes, I look 16, still. Gwar. I did some research on my favorite drug on the ever hated Wikipedia and found out the drug companies are replacing it with doesn't work as well. Moral of the story: if you are sick, get pseudoephedrine and an NSAID mix, and weed should be legal so kids don't have to grind up cold meds and snort them.
