Weekend

Ah, procrastination. Myspace has successfully sucked me in, so I've been neglecting my poor blog. And you know, I started this to stay in touch with friends, and they read it, but then when we hang out, I have nothing to say because they already know happens/thoughts from my blog. Bah. Oh well. Let's recap the weekend, even though most of the loyal readers spent it with me :)

So, Friday I had a final, then meeting at noon, then took a shift in the large animal hospital with the baby horseys. I hate horses, especially bad, sick, frustrated babies with diarrhea. I wore a skirt and sandals friday to class and got all sorts of looks/comments. It's funny cuz most people just throw on jeans and sweatshirt and head to class, myself included, so when someone dresses up, everyone notices. There are a few fashion plates that manage to find the time to dress nice and put on make up and do there hair. Tomorrow is a jeans and t-shirt day for me. I rarely wear makeup, but might manage to comb my hair. And then Friday night watched a movie and crashed.

Saturday felt weird, like i couldn't figure out what time it was. I got dressed up all cute and made my way to Boston for a lovely day with Jennie. We did it up true harvard square style with dinner at grendel's, a bit of shopping, an iced tea at tealuxe, a play at the american rep theatre, and some ice cream. Great parking spot kudos to Jennie. Then back to grafton again.

Sunday was laid back. Slept in and was woken up by a phone call, so I had to find a replacement for a MIA volunteer for the hospital. Then studied a bit, went for a quick ride, studied, made early dinner (pork chops, carrots, potatoes, salad - again, gonna make such a great wife), nap that was interrupted by Nancy barging in my apartment to tell me she's engaged (congrats!), then tv/more studying/made muffins.

And just now, at 1am, my NICU partner called and again someone didn't show up for their shift in the hospital, so I have to be a big jerk and call people at 1am, can't find anyone to go in so I have to go in at 4am. Fa christ sakes.

In other sad news, before i have to go, looks like Jenn is giving up her blog :( RIP optional-n.
